Unilab No Surprise Billing

Billing and Insurance Policy

On January 1, 2022, the No Surprise Billing Act went into effect. This bill was created to protect patients from incurring excessive out-of-pocket costs. The Act states that patient's financial responsibility for payments and deductibles should be the same for both in- and out-of-network providers.
